What OEM piston and rod combo would be the best for a B16. I was thinking CTR pistons and rods. cause i have the ITR head. Any suggestions? Im hoping to break 200 WHP. B16 block stock internals, STR fuel Rail, Holley FPR set at 55psi at WOT, MSD Digital 6 plus ignition with MSD blaster coil, B16 Intake Mani, AEM cam Gears. Just Ordered UR Racing Crank pulley, AN-R header and Fields Vtec Controller.

 

The CTR rods will not work on any B16 except the B16B due to a taller deck.

 

what rods would you reccomend for CTR pistons?

i agree B16B does have a taller block. What cams are you running and why are you running a b16A manifold. Go ITR/CTR or something else. You are restricting the flow of your motor.

 

That is the manifold that came with the car. Im runnin ITR cams. Thinkin about going to CTR tho.
