Default couple questions about dpfi to mpfi

sup guys I have a 91 4dr lx, and it's dirt slow. I want to add some more power to it, so I figured that I'll go with the MPFI conversion. I have a couple questions though. I have a 92-95 manifold sitting in my garage, I know it'll fit, but will all the sensors from my dpfi system fit on it? So I could bolt it on? Another thing is that my car is an automatic, and it's soo hard to find an auto EX ecu. So I"m thinking about using jumper harness to use an 0bd1 ecu. Can someone tell me if this will work or not? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

why bother with changing the mani, your bottom end has no compression, thats one thing you have to change at the same time, otherwise just pointless.

well i dont know what he means by no compression! But you need to extend only the tps sensor i belive! Search and you will find the answers!! Someone is bound to have a auto EX ECU with everyone on here someone has this **** laying around!

What an uneducated statement. The 1.5 bottom ends actually have higher compression than their 1.6 counterparts.

Please re-search before misleading people!

ok..true, ur 1.5 dx motor has higher compression, 9.6:1 compared to the si's 9.2:1. And you cant use any of the sensors off of the dpfi manifold, you need to get a 4th gen si intake manifold thats complete, a si dizzy, dizzy plug, ecu, injector resistor, and injector plugs from a 4th gen si. I suppose that you could go to obd1 and use somehting like a y7? ecu. But for the cost to do that, you could buy a complete MPFI swap and be ready to go. And maybe you could swap a 5 speed in there while your at it, becuz that auto is killing you.

Or maybe you could just sell the car

not really
u can use:
any 88-91 civic/crx intaake manifold,
any 88-91 civic EX sedan manifold
any 88-91 civic AWD wagon EX manifold
and 92-95 civic manifold (Si the Z6 recomended)
even the 96-00 EX Y8 manual manifold (wich requires the external IAT sensor)
