yeah its a ZC hood
if you look at the lights it's basically like a bondo-on eyelid.

if you like it go for it.
I'd stick with OEM or maybe a vented hood if I had a turbular turbo manifold

that is called a Boser hood..its a german thing, you would really have to be avw lover to really appreciate them..they look better on vw's to be honest. I had a 98 GTI previous to my CRX, and it wold look nice to me on that bu not really tough on the CRX though. it is actually all hood , metal at leasst, and in most]cases the hood latch has to be modified.. and no im no cross-over/hater either

what they did was take a stock hood...any hood would do, and you would weld little metal eyelids onto it, then paint it after you did the rest of the bodywork to make it look finished...

and no, the way this hood is right now was never stock on any car...

oh and that car would be from germany...

there's nothing perticular to that hood...

what people do is, they just weld in metal triangluar pieces that fall over the headlights... nothing to do with hood latches or whatever...

dunno where you guys get those ideas...

anyway, some close-ups of the work in progress on a friends' car:

On a VW you would have to modify the hood latch..obviously not on a crx hood but on a gti or jetta hood you would, and they look a hell of alot nicer on a volkswagen regardless...have plenty of associates with boser'd hoods.

I agree, nicer on a VW, but I have never heard the latch modification thing, it would make since given it's location though.
