clutch too stiff/firm?
i''ve been driving an integra 95 and my clutch is not as firm as my 2000 accord lx. is there anything i can do to make my clutch on accord to be less firm/stiff? thanks for any suggestions.
I'm just speculating, but I think the firmness of the clutch pedal is a combination of the hydraulics, the clutch pressure plate and the smoothness of the input shaft. The two latter items are hard to change. You can try bleeding the clutch, but I doubt it will make things less firm. If anything it would probably make it even more firm if there was air in the hydraulics.
So unless a 2000 Accord has a cable clutch (which I doubt), I'd say there's not much that could be done. Even if it does, it would probably be more effort than it's worth.

The higher the spring force of the pressure plate, the higher the pedal force.

Is it possible to adjust or do something to reduce the the spring force of the pressure plate to make the clutch a little bit softer?
thanks,

Other than replacing it, no. And replacing it is basically a clutch job, so it's not for the faint hearted (or those short on time).
You're better off learning to live with it. I drove a 27' U-Haul truck a month ago, now THAT was a firm clutch. I was slamming my Accord's clutch to the floor by accident after driving that truck for a few hours
