Default Building my 2.0 need suggestions

Well im building my motor and its going to go into my 2001 ITR. This is the first time that i am going to be building a fully built motor. Before i just ran different built heads and wasent really satisfied with the times i was hitting. Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

2001 ITR BLOCK, 85mm ,11.5 compression, stock type R throttle body, extrude honed intake manifold, RC 550 injectors, Skunk stage 2 cams, Portflow head with stock valves, duel valve springs, excedy twin disk clutch, motec M4 pro, walbro 255lph, jdm itr 4.785 tranny.

Those are most of the main things that i will putting in. If you guys got some ideas on how i could make more power then that would be great. Also how much whp do you think i would be looking at and possible times and mph i would be looking at.

Yea i know but i heard from a lot of people that jun 3's are basicly the same as skunk stage 2's. also i know that ef-1's are suppsoed to be some pretty good cams. but there are liek 20 different kinds does anyone know what would be a good one for my set up?

power is in compression. take it to at least 12.5-13:1

lose the motec, unless your building a race car... this is not fast and the furious.
Get a Hondata.

Sounds like a good setup. I guess you can use a bit more compression, say 12.1:1CR for the cams you are using. You'll see better results.

I wouldn't bother with extrude honing the intake manifold though. Some guys did it and they are disspointed at the results. They only gained 1-2whp up top and pretty much the same power output as stock intake manifold everywhere else. However, you may want to try the AIR Carbon Fiber manifold...a lot more R&D has been put to this manifold.

You can also run AEM, or Hondata instead of Motec. You will need to spend a lot of time setting the Motec unit up. I guess the Motec is more suitable for crazy boosted cars. But for NA, I'd choose AEM or Hondata, because everything is set up and already to go.

It's hard to determine how much power you'll make with your setup. It depends on the tuning. The power range from 200WHP to something like 240+whp.

whats the motec for? you could run that setup off of a ECU and Vafc or a hondata....save your money and put it elsewhere...

I was thinking about getting the carbon manifold. My friend has one on his car and its made really nice but i think it looks pretty damm ugly. He dynoed it agianst his extrude honed intake manifold and it made the same numbers just that the powerline shifted to the right. also i got the pistons for free just had to buy new rings. But i would have gotten some 12.0 compression pistions. what compression do you think is the highest i can go with using 91 pump gas. this is a steet motor that i have to use everyday. I dont mind running a few gallons of 100 ocatane cool blue in each tank. If i mill the head 40 thousands what do you think my compression would be. also i dont think i will have piston to valve clearnce problems what do you guys thing?
