No not at all. They can be used w/ a B20 or LS head too, you just lose a half point of compression.

They yield a 10.5:1 CR w/ the B16 head.
They yield a 10.0:1 Cr w/ the LS/B20 head.

These pistons can be used for either a non-vtec application (bored out LS or B20) or for a B20/vtec application.

If you're going B20/vtec and using a B16 or ITR head it will give 10.5:1 CR

They're awesome pistons, I've just taken another route with building my engine and want to get some of my money back rather than have these sitting in my closet.

At $375 these are a steal. You're saving $125. Once again these are brand new, never been used.
