need to borrow stock Civic suspension
Does anybody have a stock Civic suspension (just shocks and springs) for a '93ish Civic that I can borrow? After the Summit Point race I am going to pull my konis to get them revalved, which will take about 4 weeks. I am just looking for a stock suspension to swap onto the car for that time period so I don't have to leave it on jack stands. I also might do it at a friend's house, so I'd like to be able to drive it up onto the trailer when we are done. I'm not planning on doing anything with the car that would wear or damage the suspension. They are just holding the body off the ground until my shocks are done. Ideally, if somebody could bring a stock suspension to Summit, that would be perfect. So, can anybody help a brother out?

I have no idea.
Steve, thanks for the info. I'll contact you if I can't get them from somebody at Summit.

No. Rear fork is too narrow unless you mod the control arm bushing. fronts will work though.

I've got some shocks and springs that were on a Civvic I got... The parts are just sitting in my garage... I'm going to the ARRC in a week or two. I can ship them to you if you want it - no charge for the parts, just shipping? Let me know.

Did you say you have a trailer? Thought so-use it if you can to do the take apart. If it is an open deck it is still possible to do this.

I am suggesting that you take the car apart on the trailer. My trailer has a closed deck and we can get a jack under it and put stands on the deck if need be. There are ways to do this with one with an open deck as well.
I live in Norristown which is like 10minutes from where you live. And I just bought a 94 cx, but I'm at college right now in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

So do you want this stuff - for free? Shocks and springs? It will cost you shipping from Columbus, Ohio... Let me know.

I think I have the solution locally, but thank you VERY much for the offer. If for some reason there is a problem with my current plans, I might be in contact with you again. Thanks again.
