My nifty cluster mod, just took off this little orangish plastic piece up under the top of the cluster so I can actually see my gauges




There ya go, nothing special, but it gave me something to do for 20 minutes tonight

 

well actually if those are the 9006's, they only put out 1000 lumens, which is the same as the stock 9006 bulbs.. so in that case you wasted $40 on lights instead of "wasting" $400 on HID which would have been 3x as bright.

I know I'm not blind, when I 1st installed them I did a comparison between stock and silverstar......big difference mostly in depth.......sorry, didn't have my digital camera back then when I bought em........but if I can find a stock headlight bulb laying around I will go take a pic and show the difference

yeah, back to the HXs.......gonna stick with these for a while now, no more wheel whoring for a while.......until I change to a itr 5 lug

the difference is the color temp.. the silverstars are 4000K so they're almost the same as HID so the light u get is basically pure white like HID..

what is your suspension setup? love the CRX keep it clean and simple.

I have the same bulbs.. there the closest to HID's you can get. Be carefull they foged my headlamp and melted the mounts but they look good until it happens, if it happens. I replaced the headlamps and so far no melting just alittl foging....

Silverstars look nothing like HID. When you get HID's you'll see the difference between silverstars and the real HID's.

Silverstars dont have that piercing brightness that HID's have when youre looking right at them!!

I'd rather get the Silverstars over those cheesy Xenon bulbs any day though...
