Default Wheel buying

ok i have a issue. My car is currently on 17s, but my 14inch steelies have bald out tires where leak out are. My 17s also dont have enough good traction which is hurting me at the track. Right now i cant afford to replace all 8 tires now just go out a buy a whole new set of lighter and wheels with tires. What I wanna do right now is buy 2 tires for either the 17s or the 14s. If i buy 2 for the 14s then i will be using then when i got to the track in a couple weeks. If i buy for the 17s then i just replace the two in the front, the take one of the old ones from the front and put it in the back where i have a buble on the tire. So what would u guys do. I have alot of stuff that im trying to get within the next weeks so im not trying to speed alot on the tires

if your worried about the track and saving money then get tires for the 14's it will be cheaper and faster, dont waste money on 17's

I'd replace your 2 for the 14's.

Then sell your set of 17's.

Then buy 2 more 14's.

If you do nothing but show your car, I can see having 17's. But if it is being raced at all, 16's are the biggest to go IMO. I have 16's now and wishing I got 15's. "If you can't afford to replace/repair, you should have got it." I always tell myself that before I buy anything for my car.

funny thing about that is that all my 14s are bad so before I could get rid of my 17s, I would have to get all 4 14s to put on the car when i take off the 17s. lol
