I love this car wanna get it but affraid cuz here in NJ it snow and might have problems with the s2k and dont want two cars cuz insurace rapes you.

So have any of you ever driven an s2k in the snow?

Does it handle like an BMW or something like that?

does colorado count? i haven't driven the s2k in the snow and probably won't becasue i have another car. having another car (beater) only costs me about an extra $20/month in insurance thanks to state farm's "multi-car discount". if you have to drive the car in the snow, get some blizzaks and you'll be fine (from what i've heard).

 

get a supplementary beater or just get a WRX.

Get a AWD DSM?

 

You could be in for some trouble. I have driven RWD cars here in NY in the snow. It takes some work but you should be fine with winter tires. Get an older car for the winter. I wouldn't want to learn how to drive a RWD in the snow in a new car. Especially a s2000.

LOL. I sometimes wish i lived where it never snows. But then after blazing thru the woods at 70-90 on my sled I don't feel so bad about it.
