Hey... just a heads up. I justinstalled a new engine and in my rush, I put castrol syntax tranny fluid in the tranny. At first no drama's... welll at least for the first 1000kms. After that, I noticed a weird tick tick tick noise at low rpm but it would dissapear at high rpm. I thought I had throwna bearing..

Turns out after I changed back to oem tranny fluid, all noise is gone. I'm thinking it was the lsd. Just a heads up for anyone who might be having the same problem!

uhhh yeah - just an FYI for everybody - do yourself a favor and only use Honda MTF or GM Syncromesh in your ITR tranny...

100,000km and over 100 track days, Casrtol 5w50 Syntec in the motor and tranny since 20,000km, no problems..........works for me

 

i'm talking about the cheap castrol crap....
