Well the Konis are about $565.60 shipped and the GC's are another $340 plus shipping and thats including the brackets you need to run the Konis on the GC's.
A set up for $$$ right now would be some Tokico Blues used (I bought a set of 4 under 200$) and some H+R sport springs (200$)
Then get an Energy bushing kit.....then to the Yard to pick up some sturdy roll bars from an Integra (20$)
Best money I ever spent, firmed up my suspension emensly, while still providing a bit of cushion.
As you get some more $$$ sell the blues and get an adjustable strut

I would go with neuspeed koni yellow and gound controls with custom spring rates. That is what I run for autox and daily driving. And to tell you the true I wouldn't trade it for anything out their on the market. My boss runs koni yellows and ground controls and he took second at nationals this year in STS, and took 1st last year, so its a proven setup. Consider this we tryed the new advanced designs on his car and he like the origional setup of koni/GC. The car just handled better, so yeah save up a few more dollars, it will be well worth it.
Oh yeah forgot to add this setup is in a ef just like us.

get some teins if you can save up for em...i wish i woulda got them instead of spending my money on all sorts of spring/shock combos...right now i've got 90-93 integra h&r race springs with kyb adjustable shocks. the rear springs don't fit quite right so i might swap them for some eibach sportlines. why? because i had sportlines all around and the front was just too heavy for the springs-which is why i switched to the h&r's...
sorry ill go more into detail the tein springs go for like 125 on ebay, shocks are 60 or so each and the bushing kit is about 125.... all labor was done by me so that saved alot. the bushings will need to be done by a press or by another way (do a search there are alot of diff ideas ppl have used) if you want sway bars i think st has a kit for 225, your stock should be fine to start out with. the tein springs are about an inch and a half drop. i have 16s 205 50 16s with my b16 it almost tucks front tire, the back which is gutted including rear bumper support is about a finger gap away from the tire. you said you have about 500 to spend the springs shocks and bushings will run you about 500 without labor. dont go cheap with your suspension you will regret it.

i'm very happy with my tokico spring/strut combo that i bought for $575 shipped last winter. It doesn't drop the car a ton but it's plenty stiff while being almost soft at the same time, might have something to do with the suspension technique sway bar though too. I installed them all at the same time.

IMO, if you're going to spend that kind of money, save up a little more for some tein or jic magic full coilovers.

you guys think i should save up the money and go with tien HA suspension? will it make that much of a difference?
i'm pretty sure you can find a true coilover for around 650-700 bux. I want to say either the tokico or tein makes them. It wouldnt be a bad idea to save up for that. On the other hand I have tokico blue's, skunk2 springs and 205-50-15 Azenis, and i must say it handles like its on rails. I have the bushing kit to throw on also, but its such a pain in the *****, i havent had the chance to get around to it.
Go to http://www.optionautosalon.com and order Progress group sport springs $150.Progress Group makes a specific set of springs for your hatch w/ a B16 motor swap.Might call to make sure it doesn't cost any extra or if it requires special ordering for the springs that compensate for the B16's extra weight. It drops the car 2"s F&R , then order the camber kit for another $150. Next order Tokico blues for $60 each $240 all together, yes a lil over budget but find a way to get the extra $40. The Tokico Blues are what Progress group recommended, several peps w/ there orginization use this set up too. Later when you get extra money get the sway bar kit (F&R 22mm) for around $300. This should yield great results on the track according to Progress Group.
I went to there site and they have a 90 Civic DX running the same suspension and pulling 1g turns. They however do not have a B16 under the hood, but still the set up should yield similar results. Besides you can always throw strut bars and a tie bar into the mix. Any ways just my 2 cents.
Thanks-Jason
