His header is one of the top two made for our cars. Its a tri Y design. It makes real nice throttle response with power and torque down low where you will feel it while providing the high end power where you want it also.
I have one of his headers and all I got to say is

I build headers for the D15, D16, B16, B18, B20, B20+ and the early 84-87 1.3 and 1.5 engines. Under the pan or side exit, 4-1s and 4-2-1s. I also build hi flow Carsound cats and at the present time I offer a 2-1/2" cat back exhaust system "kit" for the Integra which I hope will be a bolt on system sooner than later. I also did the intake for the individual carbs for JSPEED's drag car.
Damian, The shop won't be ready for work until next week due to the move from NC to VA.

The cat back system kit runs as follows:
Mild Steel $350
Aluminized Steel $425
Stainless Steel $550
You will need to tell me what piping sections you would be interested in so I could give you pricing. I will be doing a kit that will require less welding in the future, if it will be all bolt in time will tell. The OBD II cat runs $165, 3 bolt gasket is $4 and the donut is $15. The cat gets discounted $30 if purchased with the cat back system.
I want to stress that these are not bolt in kits, welding is required.

I can vouch for Dave as a "straight up" person -- easy to do business with, and a reliable and trustworthy business man. I just got his stainless exhaust system and it is an exceptionally high quality product. Coupled with the JDM 4-1 header and Carsound cat that went on the car at the same time, my car feels much stronger in the mid to high RPM range. I'm very pleased with my new exhaust.
I've had email conversations with Dave and he is the man...
I hope to scrape enough money after my wedding and home purchase to finish my GSR Sedan correctly. My current header/cat/exhaust are killing me, hehe.

Actually the stainless kit price had a small increase. Plus it varies depending on what size/material mufflers and resonators the customer chooses. The only way I'll do aluminized is if I offer it in a bolt on system. I'll do a mild steel kit if someone wants it, but I don't recommend it since it won't last long unless it gets ceramic coated and why not just go stainless then. BTW, the cat does get discounted if purchased with a header or cat back system. However, the discount was reduced a hair. If interested please email me a smsproducts@novacoxmail.com for upto date pricing.
what about a 3" catback for a 89 civic HB up to the muffler(just the piping, no muffler)? Can you make that in aluminized steel? It is mandrel bent isn't it?

Are you running a 3" cat? Is this a FI application? I haven't done any custom systems for car. Yes, it could be done but I would need a car or an old system. If built it would be a system kit like the Integra ones and welding will be required for the final install. As for aluminized steel as the material, yes some could be used. Could it be made of 100% aluminized steel, I wouldn't know until I saw how the system wouldhave to be routed.
I bought a Carsound 94005 from Dave about 6 weeks ago. The transaction went very smooth. The only thing was that he sent me the wrong gasket and the wrong bolts that hold the cat to the header. It took mw long day to install the darn thing because I did not have another car to go to the hardware store and buy the right bolsta and gasket. It took me 2 trips to the store. I am always working on my car and I installed everything on my sig. so I know when something does not fit correctly, just in case there are any doubts.
