hey ive been thinking about painting my rims on my del sol (fat 5 spoke) can neone help me on the process of what to do? what paint do i use? what are the necessary steps? also my friend told me there was this thread awhile ago that listed all the steps to painting rims cus the guy had jus done it. neone kno where i can get this thread? thnx in advance

yea just search, you'll find plenty of info. I just got done painting my LS Mesh wheels and they turned out great. As far a rattle can paint, use the stuff made for wheels by dupli-color or high heat engine paint.

 

yeah the wheel paint worked well got it at auto zone. Got gun metal fat 5's now

 

make sure to let it dry for periods of time before adding another coat and you should not spray directley on top , rather at an angle.

 

true that also dont get new tired put on when ur done paintin them
