Default skunkworks on koni yellows standard spring perch?

Hiya all...

Tried searching through the archives but couldn't find an adequate answer... picked up a set of skunkwork coilovers for my '98 gen while in hawaii recently (yeah, they're pretty heavy to bring back to australia as carry-on luggage!!) and have been reading up a little on their installation.

There's a note saying koni make a special perch for coilovers (as the standard perch is staggered to allow for the springs) but I put the coilover sleeves on my old stock shocks (with a similar staggered perch) and they seem to fit pretty well on the inner section.

Do I really need a different perch for the konis for the skunkworks then? Thinking of installing them in a couple of weeks time, but if I have to order any more parts in then I'll do it prior to taking the car apart again. Anyone happen to have a part number handy for the koni thingies if you do need them?

Of course I'm more interested in hearing from ppl who have coilovers on konis without any other bits
