Default ECU question

I was just wondering if I could use a P72 OBD1 with a B16A converted to OBD1?
or do I have to use the PR3 obd1. Thanks, let me know.

PR3 is OBD0 and if you convert to OBD1 you can't use the same ECU or dizzy. you'll have to use a P28 (Civic del Sol). the only way I think you'd want to use a P72 is if you use a GSR intake manifold for the secondary butterflies

u can use any obd1 ecu--if you get p28, you should have it chipped to control your b16, the p30 ecu was for obd1 b16a's in the us.

OBD1 PR3's do exist, but they aren't all that common. Like the others mentioned, your best bet would be to get a P28 ecu and have it rechipped.

I can verify they exist, I have one. It comes off the 92-93 JDM integra which are OBD1. You can usually find these on e-bay pretty cheap, because not a lot of people know about them.
