Please Help Me out on painting my bodykit...

Does anybody know the painting procedures step by step....
All I know is to paint primer first and thats it... I wanted to paint my bodykit myself. My boy hooked me up with a used front bumper and side skirts for FREE. Its been painted green right now and I need to paint it silver to match my car.

I wanted the paint job to come out like a professional job. Is there any web sites on HOW-TO paint bodykits......

Let me know guys really need your help...

 

the key is to sand the hell out of them , and there is a special primer , the one i use is called 222 you can get it at your local paint store . and when you buy paint remember you get what you pay for .

 

well i think that since you got the kit for free spend the money to get it done professionally. you will need a gun to paint it with because a spray can will just not cut it. seriously take it to a pro because the normal person doesnt have all the equiptment to do the job well.

I'm planning to paint it silver to match the color of my civic. Did you painted you own bumper and sides on you black civic with silver bumper and side? Do you have a big picture of you car with your paint job? Can I see it? THANKS
