Mike, Eugene thanks for all your help this past weekend in So Cal.
I made the ~5hr drive from PHX with my tank, and proceeded to break it on SAT time trials! (NHRA finals) they opened there shop and we were there till 3am on sunday morning. I borrowed drag radials from BFGoodrich and on the first launch; POP!
Ended up being the intermediate shaft with the tranny side breaking off inside the diff. I was ready to just put in a another tranny, because i NEEDED to be here (at school) Monday Morning.
On sunday i decided against racing so i could be sure to get back with no more troubles... turns out the ET classes were cancelled. Im happy i didnt break my diff!
on a side note, my car looks like an ashtray!

Were you the one that broke down before the halfway mark? I saw an accord snap something and the truck had to pull it down the track.
glad it was nothing major

thanks for the props Mike, glad you got home safely. we were happy to help a fellow racer out and were definitely disappointed that they cancelled the E.T, classes for Sunday. this is Mike by the way also, take it easy.

i'm glad you made it home. i know alot of us have been stuck in similar situations. if you need anything else, just go ahead and hit us up.
we were very disappointed with mike's h/b running 12.3's. after taking it back to the shop and putting it on the dyno again, the car only made 200 whp after it made substantially more the day before. we had no vtec, due to oil pump failure. look for mikes h/b running in the next street car event.

whats up Trever, Good times this weekend. Not to mention all of the brain cells that were lost Friday night during the dyno sessions. I couldn't even get my valve adjustment right , I kept on forgetting what cylinder i was on.
don't blame the loss of brain cells on the fumes troop, you started off a bit behind us in the beginning. Trev, no problem on the shade.... good times. when are we going to get more beers?
