Default better gas mileage?

Are there any fuel additives I can put in my car to help me get better gas mileage during the winter that actually work? I'm currently putting regular in my car but I've heard premium helps with gas mileage. Is that true and is it enought that it's worth the extra couple dollars? I'm at half tank right now and I only have like 120mi on it, I should have somewhere around 150.

premium gasoline will yield better gas milleage, yes...others claim that basic bolt ons that free up the breathability of your car will help as well...i don't know how much truth is in the second claim, but i know premium will help...

btw, where's New Haven, Indiana...i'm from bloomington!

Half-tank on my car, 95 Ex 5spd coupe, is around 200 miles.

maintenance is good, bout 105k, car is in great condition, haven't gotten a new fuel filter or o2 sensor, I have an intake and I took out the resonator so I have a little breathability in terms of air. Don't really want to put premium in it unless I have to. I'm on a tight budget with money.

My driving technique is normal. I accelerate rather slow, I don't really drive fast unless I'm on the highway but then I set my cruise. I take a while to get up to speed, I don't accelerate fast to the high speeds.

New Haven is up in northeast IN, just east of Ft. Wayne.

sounds like you're doing it all, just make sure that the fuel filter and that the air filter are clean......and drive conservative, it's all you can do

premium = complete waste.

aight, I'm going to check my o2 sensor and maybe have my fuel filter changed and see how that helps. Thanx for all your help.

Nick, I'd like you to give formal proof on this, for I have found that it doesn't improve mileage on an engine designed for 87. Now, on an engine with a higher CR, different story: not only will it yield better mileage, it will also warrant durability of the engine.

Defaced, if you want to better your gas mileage, read this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=553323 .
