Basic rpm tach directions.. HELP

I just bought a autometer tach from a friend no shift light just a basic rpm gauge with a white face. What wires go to what ? thanks for the help !

red goes to power

white to accessory

black to ground

and last but not least green goes to signal wire on distributor
