Default Some help for a clean install on a rear tower brace

I feel like a noob, but I was curious if anyone could give me a step by step or a thread to installing a rear tower brace, and any suggestions on a clean install (cutting out some of the trunk carpet by the struts etc) any help would be awesome, and thanks.

park your car in level ground, pull off the carpet on the back if needed, dont loose any of those black put-in taps, put the brace there just to get some idea how much and where you gonna cut the hole in the carpet.
any razor blade knife will be suffiecent for the job, dont make us extra extra large, measure twice and cut once
take of the nut on the strut, put the brace in, torque it back to factory spec.
jack the car up if it's lowered(both side should be off the ground, use the rear tow hole jack point) adjust the nut to the maximun length(the brace should be very very firm, not flip, flop around) then you are done, remove the jack and put the carpet and tags in.

they dont do hold alot for heavier accord but i guess it's still worth it(how much btw? my friend got his rear tower brace for 35)

I bought mine brand new for 10 bucks plus 10 in shipping and thanks for the heads up. and just so I dont have to look it up (plus I am being lazy) do you know the factory spec on the strut nuts for torque? If not I can look it up in my chiltons or helms. thanks again

Easy mod, looks clean install, cleans up the trunk believe it or not. Handles even more stiff and I also got some yokohama tires that helped out a little bit too. Only took like 30 minutes to do definatly a plus if you want a more rounded handling car and kinda counter balances out the pushing caused by a front driven vehicle.

invest in a ST rear sway bar if you want to counter balance the effects of an understeering fwd car...
