Paiting car.. Non flashy color, whats good?

Ok so in the next 2 months I'm painting my '93 coupe, DIY and all. I'm looking for a nice color that's not flashy, probably like a grey or white or something and I also don't want a paint thats going cost me an arm and a leg. Right now the color of the car is purple...

I saw this when searching... Pewter Grey Metallic..

Ahaha, the color everyone wants! Not for me... and I don't think it would look good on an EJ coupe...I was thinking stock purple.. since the car is still that color

CW is a very simple, no metallic or pearl or anything right? Cause from what I remember, metallics and pearls cost more...

I really like flat colors when they are done right.
