Anyone know if shaved handles looks good on a 2g crx? Thinking of doing it but dont know whats involved. How do the doors open once I pull and fill the handle hole? Where can a kit be bought from? Expensive?

 

There is a electric solenoid that pulls the latch when you hit the button. My buddy has his shaved (4g integra 4 door). I don't know what his kit is. Sometimes his door does not pop because of the crappy solenoids. They have to be adjusted just right. Its too much of a hassle if you ask me. The handles have to be removed then a filler piece of metal has to be welded in. Then the welds have to be ground down. Then you have to paint. Lots of work. I rather install power locks and hook them up to an alarm.

 

AutoLoc makes a kit. It should work pretty flawlessly, if you install them properly. But yeah, it will be a lot of work.

i just put 4 door rear handles on my car. it really cleans up the apperance of the door.

 

Im not worried about body work becuase right now everything is getting molded and installed onto my car so I can squeeze it in easily. Just was looking to see if it was hard and if it looked good.
