Im just wondering something. My 93 del Sol SI has no trunk latch/popper at all. EVERY OTHER honda that Ive EVER seen has had one. Is this a gimick, or did Honda just omit this lil detail in mid-'93?

ya, it sucks, shut the car off, get out, open the trunk, start the car back up, and ya...lol. like i said, ive never seen it before!

 

93 was like the awkward teen years for the del sol. It was just getting a feel for itself and didn't know what to expect :-P lol. I'm not really sure if it did or didn't come with trunk latch but either way it doesnt work too well at all lol. I gotta pull mine 2 or 3 times to get it to work.

 

huh...the car used to be Jens, my gf. She smashed it, and got another one, a 94. OF course there is a latch in there, and it works great. Once I realized this, I went on a lil crusade to peek up as many honda skirts as possible, and as of YET, I havent seen a honda missing its latch. Im starting to think this one just got skipped on the assembly line...lol
