Default valvetrains

I am going to be purchasing some skunk stage 3's and am looking at valvetrain possibilites , and am looking for some feedback on whats good out there and also rough ideas of what i should pay for it

I agree. The way I look at it is that whatever cam(s) you get, you should get the same valvetrain components. I'm going with all Crower in my all motor D. Good luck with yours...

I would agree as well. I have skunk stage 2s and have skunk valves, springs, and retainers. Keep it in the family.

EF-1. they can take well over 13mm of lift (with the right modifications of course.)Very stiff, and very reasonable in the pricing, something like $300 for the springs and retainers. can't really beat that

thanks for the replies guys , i figured i should stick with the same manufacturer , but i heard from some people that skunks valvetrains could be soft , so i just wanted to hear some more info .

I like Ef-1/Rocket Motorsports springs and retainers. I'm getting a new set of springs from them here in a month or so.. you really can't beat the quality/service/craftmanship... plus they are guarenteed for life! Blingage y0!
