Some guy came into my work today and was talking about some crx he bought from pick your part (a local junk yard) and mentioned it came with no front springs. only shocks/struts. so we pulled out the eibach catalog and low and behold, under 88 crx springs it said "rear only". ive never heard of this before and was wondering if 88 crx's really didnt come with springs up front, and if this is true, what kind of setup are they running? thanks.

 

the 1st gens had torsion bars... But 88 should be a 2nd gen...

 

yeah i have an 88, and there is a strut spring setup in the front.. if its an 87 then yes, it has a shock and torsion bar
