Default Mini Me swap using a6 block and z6 head

I'm considering a mini me swap with a z6 head because I can get a good deal on it. The following parts I can think of that I will be using for now are z6 head, z6 head gasket, z6 intake manifold and throttle body and an rpm switch to engage for vtec. I've done some research on this but I have a few questions.
I understand the a6 distributor will not fit on the z6 head without some fabrication or using the two side bolts and washers. I was wondering if it is possible to use a z6 distributor instead of the a6 distributor? I'm thinking it probably won't work.

I also understand that I should be using the z6 intake manifold on the z6 head because the a6 intake manifold ports are too small for the z6 head. I'm supposed to use the a6 fuel injectors right? Because the z6 injectors are higher impedance? Is the exhaust ports on the a6 exhaust manifold also too small for the z6 exhaust ports? And is it possible to use the z6 exhaust manifold with the a6 downpipes?

With the z6 head gasket, I hear the compression ratio will be around 10.1:1 or 10.4:1. Should I consider measuring the compression ratio myself? or should I just take those measurements into consideration and just figure out how to stop detonation? Do you think detonation will be a problem even if I use the z6 fuel pressure regulator? I read with the a6 distributor on the z6 head, there is not enough room for adjusting ignition timing.

I'm trying to do this swap rather cheaply so I'm trying to make everything work without buying anything thats too expensive. I will have more questions but I guess they will come later. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
