Ok I am finally going to bolt down my autopower roll cage. I have the correct drill bits/bolts to put it in. I also have those silver backing plates. My question in where do I put the silver plates. Do they go under the feet of the roll cage or do they go on the outside, underneith portion of my car. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

 

They should go on the outside; the cage bolts on the inside, and the plates go on the outside to distribute the load from the bolts.
