Please Help: AEM CAI v2 fitment issues on an EG9.
The bottom bracket is for a b-series tranny. The top bracket is for a D-series tranny. You got the wrong bracket buddy.
Wooow.. wait up pal
First of all, thanks for your reply.
The Civic Si has a B16A2 right? So.. I have a B16A2 engine right? Could USA and europe run diffrent trannies, with diffrent braclets?
This is really confusing.
Btw, I dont know how much it helps, but there are some engine bay pics here: http://eg9.sprengt.net .

yes, if it is a euro-spec and has the b16.... that means the tranny is b series as well...obviously. so that d-series(what comes in all 92-95 usdm civics) bracket is not going to work? if you are ordering that part for an american car, that needs to work on your euro car... order one for a 95 del-sol that came with the b16? that should work.

yes that is a d series bracket.
a word of caution: the aem instructions say to torque those bolts to 61 lbft. the helms manual says 47 lbft. when i installed mine, i torqued them to 61 and guess what... one of em stripped some of the threads out on the inside of the tranny.
the bolts they give you are short and they suck.
id suggest you go get a higher grade of bolts that are longer. compare the length of the portuding thread on the stock bolts with the stock brackets and washers with the aem bolt with their bracket. there is like a 3/4" difference.
i dont know though, maybe aem knows what is right for their product and maybe its best to use their hardware and their torque specs - but you might have to retap your tranny.
