No one likes JE pistons?? Wiseco are betteR?
because the JE's might be a little bit to heavy, weisco, endyn, IB, there all light weight designs pistons.....to me, there are all good pistons in my book, esp. the "IB's super dupers"
it's all about preference.....

its goin to come down to personal preference in my opinion. i got JEs now and they are great pistons. i was goin to buy CP but everyones makin HUGE power with wisecos so i found someone willing to build me a piston to my specs.

Just by seeing results from compression, leak down and blow by testing from same engine builder machine shop. This using the JE's, SRP's, Arias, CP's and the IB Spec Wiseco's. Haven't seen Endyn rollerwaves or any OTS Wiseco's or any other spec Wiseco's. CP's seemed to yield the best results.
I am not doubting any of these piston brands. If wiseco was the end all be all though, there wouldn't be any others in the industry.

Endyn pistons are made of a weaker 4032 alloy which is a little heavier than most and more prone to cracking under intense pressure. Endyn RW's are made of the same material as SRP's. The upside of these pistons is the fact you can run tighter clearances but the added weight and reduced strength are the reasons most choose other options. IB Spec Wiseco's and Wiseco Shelf stcok are made of 2618 T6 Alloy which is the strongest and lightest available material for pistons to date.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
do you have the tests or sources to back that up?
if thats the case and its public knowledge, any guesses on my endyn doesnt upgrade to the new stuff?
I dont remember ever reading about how ib and endyn use different alloys.

Phantom grips out sell Quaifes 3-1, ask any major retail location... Does that make the phantom grip better?
Marketing has alot to do with overall product sales. How you present your product to the public, results is another selling point as well. Its sad but the majority of this industry is an easy fall to adicquite marketing strategies.
I could care less really whos name is on the box, HP is the brand of parts I run. If it makes it I run it... period</TD></TR></TABLE>
the difference being ENDYN has been selling pistons for over 5 yrs. there still in business and are selling better everyday. if they had a bad product that cracked real easy as you stated in your first post comparing them to srp's. and exactly what marketing campain have they been on? the only ad ive seen for 2 or 3 yrs is the one that started last month for the new IM. piston sales are word of mouth.
i also wanted to add that ENDYN has maybe 20 dealers but from rumors around the aftermarket world i hear that IB has over 600 dealers of their products. how can they get outsold again?
