Default just got back from the trannny shop.....

man this people just want to rip me off!!! The man told me that i need new gears, my diff is ******* up, and i need new mainshaft. I know this dude is thinking that im dumb as ****..lol.
My diff is not fucked up cause i would know that it was cause it would be hard as hell to drive straight. He said i needed a new mainshaft which one?? i thought i had 2 shafts on the car. How can he tell my gears are fucked up and he didnt even pull the tranny and take it apart. this dude is full of ****.
I talked to my homie who is a mechanic and he said that its just i need some hydro fluid and a new linkage and some bearing ****, the tranny shop told me 1400 to fix my friend said he can do it in 2 days for 400 so you know who the hell im going with, but i still have to pay this dude 70.00 for towing back and forth and lying to me.
Dam that sucks.

Just a note: Your differential could be messed up with no driveability problems- I don't see how someone could tell it was F'd unless your inner axle joints are flopping around inside the trans. Whatever- What kind of tranny shop did you go to?

a dealer would (or at least should) have more insight on your trans problem. Most of the tranny "Specialist" shops don't know jack about hondas, At least in my experience. Maybe you should have Aamco's Mr. Brolin (amityville horror guy from the Aamco commercial) stop by. He can tell what's wrong with transmissions just by listening to them drive by.
