Default USTCC - East Coast

Heard they were going to start up an east coast series but other than that there's been no info. Anyone know who to contact about it?

Those cars suffer from a huge "reality gap" that will make it hard for a series to ever really catch on. From a distance (or through rose-colored glasses) they have the "Hey - I could do that!" factor. However **SMACK** reality sets in when people discover just how expensive it is to build and race something to that spec.

Since it is united states touring car championship isn't that mean its a national series? so adding tracks from the east coast would just be a part of there series right?

USTCC is mainly a west coast series, with a small number of mid and east coast races. Last year they were at lowes and summit. not sure this year.
There is supposed to be regional series starting, Pacific Coast touring car and Atlantic Coast touring car. (formerly called Pro Compact)
but I havent heard much of anything about it as far it actually getting off the ground.

there is a discussion on Atlantic Coast Touring Car here
http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=477
(I use "discussion" loosely, as there isnt much activity)

fastom as in Tom Lepper? If so, see you at the 25hr and I'd like to hear firsthand about your USTCC experience.

Anyways USTCC website doesn't say anything other than that there is going to be a east coast series.
