true that...it should be really light tho...in the single digits.

Looks really uncomfortable. Like sitting on a damn bench or something. I don't see any way to put padding on that thing. You would just be sliding around. Not only that but this seat is probably not legal for racing I assume.
The cheapest real kevlar seat I know of is the Vision seat. Looks like the SPG except made out of kevlar. Price is 1000 usd

Might not look right, but you can get padding from Sparco for their seats. If you put an velcro on these seats, the padding might work.

I have a feeling that this manufacturer doesnt' know jack about making seats that meet FIA regulation. But of course I don't know who made it. Otherwise I wouldn't go near any generic seat that doesn't follow any well recognized standards of testing (or have a good reputation for safety). An improperly designed seat could possibly kill you in an accident. It looks really nice though.

if u were to get those seats i'm sure u cant professionally race legally on whatever track ur goin to... i'd rather spend my $big bucks$ on something that's fia approved.. (darn.. jdm seats arent fia approved either)
Dont waste your money. It would be better to get a seat from a reputable seat manufacturer like Sparco, Bride, Recaro, ect... That seat looks like its all show. Who cares about saving 4 pounds, kinda ridiculous.

FIA approval only applies to fixed back seats.
Therefore SRD's are not FIA approved.
