a stock d tranny will be fine. I don't believe you're gonna need an LSD tho it's only throwing out 130hp, you could always get a EX/SI tranny unless that's what you got. If you don't, I've got a spair.

just find out what the ratios are and then compare them to the ex/si tranny. if the are similar then leave it. If they are way off then pick the better one. It also depends on what you are going for with the car. Shorter gears= Worse Gas Mileage. Longer Gears= Great gas mileage.

get the D15B tranny if it is $200 or less. It has the SAME ratios as the 93-95 Del Sol Si.

You have no clue. Explain why my CRX Si 5th in my 95 EX tranny get 42 mpg while the stock .702 5th get 38 mpg.?

I would use the tranny that came with the engine...a S20 I think??? It would only be an extra $200 or so....plus it might come with a free clutch

ALL 92-95 Civic trannys are S20's

CX/DX/VX/LX/EX/Si/ZC/D15B/VTi/VXi.......get the point?

if you have the chance to get a 96 ex trans, i think they are the same for all that year, they have stronger syncros than the 92-95 trans.

i ran my d15b with a cx tranny before i swapped it for an ex tranny. and the cx tranny's gears were high as hell i could freakin tke 2nd gear all the way up to like 70 mph. this tranny just killed the 130 hp of the motor.

Yeah no joke. How many times have we answered this question this week?? The EX tranny is the shortest nonhybrid tranny for the D series.

and who has the only two 5g hybrid trannys??????

Me.

Did it help?????

Not with a NA Z6 on 20x8x14 slicks.

15.023 with stock EX tranny
15.021 with my hybrid tranny

Only the D15 might be able to use my hybris tranny for drag racing.

Road racing???? That a whole different ball game!!!!!!!
