Can you use OBD2 o2 sensor in a OBD1 car? They are both 4 wires so i wouldn't see why not.

Also, autozone sells 1 wire o2 sensors for 18 bucks. can i buy one of those and just hook up the white wire and the grounds and not use the green wire ( heater one ) ?

the black wires are heater wires. the white is signal, and the green is ground. you can use an obd II sensor. you can't use a 1 wire. they aren't very accurate anyways.

Don't waste your 18 bucks. It's not going to work right. Just get a 02 from here in the classifieds or from a junkyard or something if you don't want to pay the dealership the 200 bucks for one.

also, 96-00 HXes have a wideband 4-wire O2 thats supposed to be a nice upgrade. it's really accurate and is good for turbo cars.
