55 shot on stock clutch
I ordered a zex kit. I was wondering if I could run a 55 shot on a stock clutch. I was also wondering if their is a way to engage the nitrous after i get into 2nd gear b/c i dont wanna slip my clutch. I was thinking maybe if i engage it in 2nd it wont slip when i switch into 3rd. But im probably wrong so please give me your input on this issue.
you can a 75 hp shot, so long as the clutch isn't absolutely dying. Anyhow, even if it did go out, you can always replace it with an aftermarket. I would recommend getting an aftermarket anyway if you havn't already, great investment and does make a tremendous diffrence. It'll also make the 55 shot a lot more reliable.

I agree that the stock clutch should hold up fine if it's not already toast and you're a decent driver. As far as when it kicks in you can run it on a push button demand and hit it whenever you want. I would however suggest getting a high/low rpm switch that will only allow it to work in a specific rpm range, especially if you are new to NOS. Spraying at to high or to low an rpm can have some very expensive consequences.
nos is not the universal designation for nitrous oxide but anyways...
a msd window switch works wonders for keeping the n2o in check, but also make sure to read as much info as you can on the proper use and what is misuse.
a 55 shot started to kill my clutch cause of hard launches... but you should be ok if you dont try to leave super hard with the spray on.
