i got broadsided last night--prelude tranny question
alright, to make a long story short i got hit last night in the
drivers side door and quarter panel, i just got done fixing ths spot
from a prevoius wreck
now my car won't drive, i let off the clutch in 1st gear to drive
and the car just stays in one place and the engine just revvs
what do you guys think it could be, i'm thinking maybe a cv joint,
or maybe the spider gears in the diff,
i haven't had a chance to get a good look under the car yet
your opinion's and suggestions are greatly appreciated

If both axles are broken you'd defintely go nowhere. If the splines in the diff were fucked I think you would hear some god awful noise of it at least attempting to turn the axles.
it wasn't too bad of a sound
there was no fluid leaking,
we pushed the car off to the side of the road
and it sounded like you could hear a crackeling
noise from the front end as we pushed it

ok, i took a look underneath the car and it looks like
the cv joint is out of the hub bearing on my left side,
since it's not lsd, that could have been the problem
why it would of just revved w/o catching.
anybody know where to find a left door shell
for the low
this all blows goats
the squirrel didn't have insurance
