Need some info... trying to replace my whole stock/header exhaust system...
sup peeps, i have a 97 cx hatch,
i recently got a type R mid-pipe, and i cant wait till i put this on...
i know that i will need to make some custom modification (length in front of mid-pipe) in order it to fit my car, but...
the only problem is, i need to find headers that will fit my stock engine (sohc non-vtec)... the current one i have has the nasty fat cat with 2 O2 sensors attached to the headers. I have been told that if i get the headers off a 92-95 civic, it will fit.
the reason i am trying to replace this stock header is cause the O2 sensors are dead, and the iron headers are rusting so bad that i see small cracks.
Next i will need a cat to make it cat back. which hi-flow cat is recommended?
any info regarding this is much appreciated..
thanks

can you use the header, cut off the last section: flange it~
then run a flanged high flow cat, as well as the mid pipe? If you dont have enough room, worst case you spend a few bucks and buy a straight 2 foot of piping and flange that son of a gun?
