Default how to tell sleeves cracked???

The engine is a b20vtec and recently my crowers broke into 4 peices and screwed alot of **** up. I replaced all of the exuast valves and lapped them into place and when I went to start my engine, it ran fine for a few seconds and then I heard like a some sort of pressureized or zipping sound( hard to explain) and 2 seconds later my idle shot up and white smoke started to poor from my tail pipe. I noticed that after installing the head when I would manualy turn over the engine I would here a coolant girgle noise. I pulled every spark plug out and only inserted one ata time and manually cranked to listen for the noise and it was there every time. I was trying to pinpoint the blown cylinder gasket. I inspected the block carefully and didn't notice any thing wrong or anything that would catch the eye. Engine oil looked clean but I had a ton of crankase pressure after turning off the engine It also smelled really sweet. Also when I started the engine I took off the coolant cap and it looked like a wave pool.

I am thinking that the problem is somewhere in the head but where??? I took a straight edge and the block deck looked pretty straight.

2 head gaskets and same problem. WTF. Im pissed and confused all at once.

Default

when the head was on the engine I did a compression test but the motor was cold and not realy accurate to go by. Unfortuneatly I do not have access to a leak down tester where the car is(no air) so I couldnt check that either.
