I just really want to use the passenger seat cause I bought a recaro bucket that's older but has madass bolters on it and it's got the same shape and design as the EF si seats. It's got a square headrest kinda like the si's and tegs but it's rubber instead of cloth and has mesh in the middle of it. Recaro made a similar design for the S13's but didn't have the huge bolsters on it as mine if you want a idea of what the seat looks like check out .http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...egory=43809.It also has the cushion under the lower knee that can extend too. The seat fit like a glove and would be misery for any person over 175 or has a waist size bigger than a 34. My skinny *** wears a 30-32 and the it hugs my *** and sides. I can send the pic to someone is they cost post it for me. To get some ideas if anyone knows what car it came from or any info on it?

 

Oh yeah, the guy I bought it from was told it was worth some $$ from the guy he bought it from who road raced. The seat got around, what can I say?

 

Holy cow noone knows! You guy surprise me with the stuff you know and no replies to the mystery recaro seat.

They have the same design but have the adjustable cushion under the knees and the lower bolsters by the thighs are 4" high and the side bolsters are 5". Have pics but don't know where or how to post them.

 

my friend has one that is all black and has adjustable leg cusions and lumbar, he said its just a regular off the shelf recaro, just like a srd spg etc....

 

Look like they are from a VW.

i think they are the ae86 seats....i saw the exact style seat on ebay when i searched for ae86

i have seen those seats come stock on old turbo trans am. the same body style that was in the mountain dew commercial. but the TA was white with a black hawk on the hood. I think it was a Pace car one year. 1984 seems to be the year. but i only saw them in red and black not that color

 

Yeah, I'm thinking a mid 80's made recaro cause I saw the same thing when I did a search for "recaro" in ebay and a trans am TA came up with kinda similar seats but were leather. Still nothing though. I'm thinking they were 80's aftermarket seats.

I saw some guy at a vw meet with those same headrests on his vw recaro seats...

the seats do look a little more narrow than the normal vw recaro though...

 

my friend had those same seats in his european gli jetta.

these seat came for pre 90 mustang i think... don't take my word for it.

 

The last time I saw those seats was in a junkyard. In a purple mid 80's Hyundai Excel, dont know if they were stock though.

i want to say thouse are the EF8/9 SIR seats from the crx. look like my seats in my crx,but mine dont say recaro, but are designed by recaro.look good though eitherway
