Default My dad's MDX Problem..

Hey sup, my dad has a 01 MDX with 50k on it and everytime he drives there is a very subtle shaking felt and on occasion if he's cruising at like 60 with the food barely on the gas the rpms shoot up like 2 or 300 rpms and when pressing on the gas there is a significant delay in response.. He just got his 50k tune up done and the problem still persists do any of you have any ideas?

Sounds like it could be a tranny problem. It is an Acura so it should still be under warrenty. I know the accord v6 trannies are known for problems but I have also heard that all the early J series motor auto's are a problem

It could possibly be an EGR problem. The EGR valve could be sticking. I've seen them go bad. You should take the MDX to the service department.
