whywhywhywhywhy?!?!?!?!?
ok, here's the deal. my car started giving me a check engine light, and at full throttle, would rev till about 4k rpm, then it would almost cut out until i let off the gas just a hair, and then it would get back up. so i jumped the ecu to get the code and it gave me a 07. so i just changed the tps on my d16y7 to one from a jdm b16 and it didn't fix the problem(but my engine feels wicked stronger). any ideas at all? and thanks to all the guys that replied to my last post about changing the tps. it was a pain in the ****, but i finally got it, and i love the new one.
i think the y 7 and the b16 are different...
i mean like the lug wont engage the sensor. and why it hits rev limmit is probably because it is in fail safe. i know i tried to put a y7 on an older cable style y7 and it wouldnt work. you may need one off of an ex or an si.

if you dont know on this its gonna be hard to follow. also, is the sensor "lug" where it is supposed to be? there is a slot it needs to be in.
