Default Mystery connector (Prelude owners, you have an idea?)

Okay, I pulled an H22A engine from a '93 JDM Prelude and there's one connector I can't identify the purpose of. The large wire that runs from the alternator up to the fuse box (or near it), has a large two connector plug with 10 guage wires coming from it. I cannot find anything these wires connect to. Measuring continuity between them found about 4kOhms resistance.

Can I just cover the plug and leave it there? Is it an intake plenum heater? I mean, wtf?!

I'll look at the site.

I have currently identified...

Cruise control system
Main Relay wiring
AC system
Engine Computer sensors/solenoids
Brake fluid level
Reverse light
charging system
Electrical load detector
Radiator and condensor fan

At a minimum, everything is reasonably accounted for, yet there's this fat connector for... something. And I have no idea what it's for.

I'll take pics tomorrow or something so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

alternator? Call me crazy but only the only things going to the alternater are the alt power that goes over the valve cover. Nothing goes in front or under the motor or anything. A Pic would help.

Possibly the ever so ghay ELD<elcetrical load detector>?

I dunno about usdm preludes but I know when I did the swap into my civic I didn't have anywhere to hook the ELD shyt because the civic doesn't have one.

I can't just hook it straight into the electrical system? There's an actual sensor for that crap?!?

I've actually identified that wire, and the connector I've found is not it.
