Default Just one an auction for a set of Eibach Sportlines, need shock suggestions ......

Got a slightly used set for $76, not bad!

I'm thinking KYB adjustables, which I can get for $85 from Tire Rack. I'd like adjustables, so any other recommendations? Are Tokico's or something worth the extra money over the KYB's?

Oh, and that would be "won" not "one" ........

How low are the Sportlines? I don't recall. It's not more than 2" I assume.

I'll work it backwards.

I got some Tokico non-adjust shocks. If I had to do it again, I would not get it. They are not bad, but not great. Which Civic do you have? I heard some Miata guys are very happy with Tokico non-adjust because the car is light.

Therefore, pool the money for adjustables. I have not heard anything bad about Tokico adjustables. Have heard KYB are good. But no one dispute that Koni is the best. In fact, people have recommend Koni, before I got my Tokico. It's expensive, but worth it from what I heard.

I have Tokico adjustables with my GroundControl coilovers. I love them, not hard to adjust, the ride is not horrible, and they are really strong at the same time.

I had Tokico blues on my Miata with the Eibach pro kit (1.25" drop) and with 16" wheels got beat to **** on the road ......

I have a '90 STD hatch, 2,250 lbs with me in it pretty much.

The Sportlines are a 1.75" drop. I definitely want adjustable dampers for road racing (eventually) and dragging.

Thanks for the info guys! Keep it coming!

I have KYB adjustables on my CRX, and i'm happy with them. They are easy to adjust, and ride nice. Plus, they have a great warranty.
