Car drives great... drove it on the freeways of LA a couple of times to get parts and it drives very well and pulls great. Located in So Cal (Montclair). Serious buyers & offers only please. All lowball and unrealistic offers will be ignored. Car has an expensive showcar paint job (DuPont paint) and body work.

I will consider it, only for a set price (PM me for a price) and only if I see the money up front first, as I'm not going to spend the afternoon pulling the swap out to find out the buyer has flaked (we can pull the motor out in a couple of hours if need be). That would be for the entire painted rolling chassis with full interior... just missing motor swap

US customs wont let a car into the country without giving it somekind of title. since its not registered for US dot standard streetability, im guessing he must have declared it a show or race car. if thats the case, it CANNOT be registered for the street. that is show/race/parts car.

That is incorrect. Customs does not give a car any title.... that's the DMV's job. DOT approval is done by the CHP (or your state's HP). The car CAN be registered, as I've already started the CA registeration for this car (for myself, if it doesn't sell) and I'll be more than happy to pass that info along to the new owner. FYI, this wouldn't be the first Japanese RHD car that we've brought over and registered in CA. Please get your facts straight before making foolish comments.
Heh, everyone is selling a RHD car now (from the other posts that I've seen)
