I don't know if this is just my car or not. The weights that are in the seat belts seem to lock the seat belt too often. This happens when I am lightly braking like going to a yield sign. Also when I am accelerating hard like getting onto the highway. It is really pissing me off because I can lean forward to check my blind spots. Is there a way to make the seat belts not lock unless I am really braking hard? Anyone else have this problem?

 

I'm pretty sure that thats how pretty much ALL seat belts work, from my experience.

 

Well these are worse than any other car I have been in. Figured I would ask, then wait several days before replying again

 

Do your seatbelts retract slowly also? Maybe the whole winding mechanism needs a good cleaning or something. My belts retract a little slow, and also catch a little more than my previous car, but it's standable.
