Default help with b16

hey are there any good diagrams for the obd0 b16a in a crx? the reason i ask is cause i keep posting on here about my o2 sensor but no one has really answered my questions yet. i have one o2 sensor hooked up but the other one was disconected from its plug and all that is left is about 6 inches of wire. where is the plug that it plugs into in the engine bay?

Are you saying that the problem is that there is no wire for the 2nd o2? Just run one if thats the case. If you didn't cut the plug off the old harness, just cut the plug on the sensor, solder the wire and run it to the ecu. Or get your ecu chipped to only run one.

You NEED an o2 sensor in the 1-4 bank(main) and NEED another in the 2-3 bank(secondary). If you have to run a wire to the second 02 because yo don't have one, do so...

Also make sure they are pinned right and not backwards.

Refer to this pic for proper O2 placement.

read what "camshaft" had to say about O2 wiring here:

check here for wiring at the ecu:

so you are saying to just run the wire from the 02 sensor straight into the ecu

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by babyboib16 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so you are saying to just run the wire from the 02 sensor straight into the ecu</TD></TR></TABLE>

sure, if you dont have the proper connectors.

remember:

O2 sensor #1 is:
C16 on the PR3 or PW0 ecu
GREEN connector
monitors cylinders 1 & 4

O2 sensor #2 is:
C8 on the PR3 or PW0 ecu
WHITE connector
monitors cylinders 2 & 3
