What is the powerband on the B18B? Where am I making the most torque and where am I lacking the most.

 

Most torque between 5 - 6k rpm

lacking between 6k - redline.

 

So low end torque is also a problem then?

 

there is no power.

the most grunt i find as around 3-5 k after that it falls on its face and there is no low end

 

unless you put it in a 1900 lb car, then itll burn rubber through 3 gears

low end torque is not bad for a honda. It has higher displacement than a B18C1 due to the stroke.

Its about as good as you can get out of a B series minus the B20.
