Why 15.98's -16.23's
I have 94 civic ex and i just resently dropped a JDM B16a1 in it... Last night was my first nite to the track with this new engine and i only ran 15.9's and 16.2's!!! I went with a freind in a stock Integra LS and he ran the same... I've got VTEC and he dont so whats up with that... plus shouldnt my car be running faster than that???I do have a ripped boot and my car still needs to be alligned...
a stock ls integra will run 15.8's or so. that is what i ran stock back in the day.
as for your car it's tough because it has no torque being a 1.6 in a coupe.
all you have is vtec but you aren't on any cams right.
the broken boot and alignment won't make too much different.
it all depends on how you drive too!
good luck.

This still says nothing. There is no such thing as a B16a1. Sorry, I'm **** about that, plus when someone says that then I don't know what they are meaning.
Is your motor obd0 or obd1? and is it 1st gen or 2nd gen?
I'm guessing that it is obd1 2nd gen B16a since your car is a 94.
Unless you went through the extra hassle to put in a 1st gen B16

Launching in Vtec will net better times. Try 4400 and work your way up.
It will seem like your spinning the sh*t out of your tires, but the timeslip should be better.
With practice it dropped my times by a full second NA.
