Default 88 koni yellows

Is $105 a good price for just the rears? They are the older model, the ones you have to take off to adjust, but they are definitely koni sports (yellows - stock #8040-1078)....Just the rears.....Also are the fronts the same for all years?

For those who have them already...how do you like them and what springs do you have? I have neuspeed sport springs going on them....Looking for all opinions.

Thanks
Will

if you havent paid for them yet, I would strongly suggest getting the ones for the 90-91 that can be adjusted externally...(but need to replace rear lca's)...Kinda defeats the purpose of adjustability if you have to take em out to do so. It might cost a bit more for you and obviously a bit more work too, but in the long run I'd give it a

Already paid for.......I would much prefer the external adjustment, but i'm willing to put up with taking them off to adjust if needed. Once i have the setting i want I dont really plan on changing the setting. Also, i know most claim that there is lil difference in feel of the 89-91 lca over the 88's but i prefer the 88's. Besides, for $105 for NOS koni yellows, i dont think its a bad bargain.

Yes it is a good price because the 88 rears are the same as ITR rear struts so we have to pay the same price that ITR guys do.....

Spam of the day:

Check my sig for a good price on the exact shocks he bought. I will compare prices too.

And yeah, good shocks. I prefer the 88 LCA style as well. That's what Honda used on all 88-95 Civics and 94-01 tegs. The USDM got the crappy style.
